Recently, RRC Associates conducted a study for the Boulder Convention and Visitors Bureau to document the perception of Boulder residents about a number of issues related to tourism, events, traffic, and other factors in the city. The feedback from residents showed a largely positive attitude towards tourism, with the vast majority of residents agreeing that tourism contributes positively to the local economy. The results of the survey provide the CVB with statistically valid information to document not only the importance of tourism in Boulder, but also that residents feel that tourism brings positive benefits to the community.
